Hi Maxim and welcome. No, the barrel is stamped 223REM and for warranty and safety reasons, 5.56 should not be fired. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Good morning to you!! Since the barrel is marked as .223 Remington you cannot use 5.56 ammunition in the CZ600 Trail. Using 5.56 ammo in a 223 chamber can cause pressure spikes and damage the firearm. It may also void your firearm warranty. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your weekend.
Hi Maxim, YES, this will shoot 5.56 as well as .223. See question #2 on the CZ FAQ page here >>> https://cz-usa.com/support/faq/ Q: "Can CZ rifles chambered in .223 fire 5.56 ammunition safely?" . A: FOR US BASED CUSTOMERS- All of our .223s will happily eat 5.56. Since our factory is in Europe, we build everything to CIP spec, which doesn't differentiate between the two cartridges and just has the higher pressure as its standard. . Stay safe & have a great day!
