It's my understanding that issue was resolved. I'd contact S&W and ask to be sure. https://www.smith-wesson.com/products/pistols
Good morning to you!! while some owners have faced challenges with the takedown pin, it doesn't appear to be a design flaw requiring a universal fix from Smith & Wesson. Instead, it seems to be an aspect of the pistol's design, perhaps related to tolerances or manufacturing, that some individuals have overcome through specific techniques or by simply using the firearm more. If you're encountering difficulty, consult the instruction manual and consider contacting Smith & Wesson customer support for assistance. Hope this was helpful. Have a good rest of your day.

Hi Sebastian, there have been reports of the slide stop pin being difficult to remove during disassembly of the S&W CSX, but it's unclear if this issue has been officially resolved by Smith & Wesson. One resolution is here >>> https://smith-wessonforum.com/threads/csx-owners-only-fast-and-simple-fix.738235/ Stay safe & have a great day!
