Hi Dennis, The Citadel Mariner 12 Gauge Pump Action Shotgun is generally considered a reliable option, especially for those looking for an affordable shotgun that can handle rough use. Users have reported satisfactory performance and functionality after several hundred rounds. I would trust my life with a pump action shotgun over a semi-auto any day. Stay safe & have a great day! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Hi Dennis and welcome. I would go with a different model: -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGKNg4mDjzc ------------------------------------------ https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/130655/rock+island+armory+all+generation+tactical+12+gauge+18.5+nickel ----------- Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Good evening to you!! The Citadel Mariner 12 Gauge Pump Action Shotgun is a reliable shotgun. Pump action shotguns are extremely reliable. I'd have to shoot it a couple hundred times before I trust my life or my family's life on it. Just as I do any firearm I own. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your 4th weekend. 🇺🇸🇺🇸'merica' 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Honestly, you should take a look at the Mossberg Maverick for a budget do it all shotgun. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/42628/maverick+88+security+12+ga+20+cylinder+bore+7+1
It's reliable but I'd look at a Mossberg 500 series if it were me.
