Because it is the 45ACP it is 7 rounds the 9mm version is 9 rounds
The correct capacity is 7+1 rounds of .45acp. You can purchase 10 round 1911 .45acp magazines as well.

Hi martin and welcome. The .45 version pistol has 7rd magazines and the 9mm version comes with 9rd magazines. Just due to difference in bullet size in same length magazines. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
