Good evening to you!! The Holosun HE407K-GD-X2 Reflex Sight (and other Holosun K-series optics like the 507K) will not directly mount to a Shield Plus that features the standard RMSC footprint. Here's why: Footprint Differences: The Shield Plus Optics Ready uses the Shield RMSc footprint, while Holosun's K-series optics like the 407K X2 utilize a modified version known as the K-series footprint. Recoil Lugs/Posts: The key difference lies in the presence and positioning of the recoil lugs (or posts) on the slides. The standard Shield RMSc footprint (like that found on the Shield Plus) has four recoil lugs – two in the front and two in the rear. The Holosun K-series footprint, however, lacks the two rear recoil lugs and the front lugs are shallower.
