Hi Greg, it cannot be sold as new once it has been transferred to an individual. Bud's does not say what their plans are for returned guns, I would ask them at Bud's at 1-859-368-0371 9am-8pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 8pm Mon
