Hi Jonathan and welcome. Roll marks are the only difference in these models. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Good evening to you!! The only differences in these two models are roll marks. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your weekend. 🇺🇸🇺🇸 'merica' 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Key Differences: Roll Marks and Markings: The O1970A1CS will have the "Colt Series 70" roll mark, while the 1911C might have more subtle markings or a classic look. Firing System: Both are Series 70, but the 1911C is a tribute to the older style, so the firing system is a key feature. Customization: The 1911C is designed for customization, while the O1970A1CS is more of a complete package ready for use. Sights: The O1970A1CS has high-profile sights for improved target acquisition, according to Shooting Surplus. The 1911C might have more traditional sights or sights suited to customization.
Hi Jonathon, the roll marks are not the only difference. The O1970A1CS features some modern updates while the O1911C retains more traditional design elements. The differences are: - A1CS model has steel mainspring housing and trigger. (O1911C has polymer mainspring housing) - A1CS has actual rollmarks on the slide (versus laser engraved "rollmarks" on the C model) - Blacked out barrel on A1CS model. Also, the CS stands for 'Custom Shop' Stay safe & have s great day!
