Good evening to you!! That really depends on what you want. I'd check on the Glock forum to see what each is said about. Then I'd do a search on each and read the reviews people leave. But it really boils down to what you want. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your day. 🇺🇸🇺🇸 'merica' 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Both the Glock 19X and Glock 45 are reliable handguns with excellent performance. The best choice ultimately depends on your personal preferences and intended use. If you value the classic coyote tan look and don't mind the lack of front serrations and potential magazine compatibility issues, the G19X is a solid option. However, if you prioritize modern features like front serrations, a flared magwell, and full Gen 5 magazine compatibility, and are open to having the finish applied to a black G45, then the Glock 45 might be a more practical choice.
Hey wassup Brent. Hope all is well. Both the Glock 19X and Glock 45 are excellent choices, and their differences mainly come down to design, ergonomics, and personal preference. Consider how you plan to carry and use the firearm. Try holding both if possible to see which fits your hand better. Both can be customized and cerakoted in coyote for a durable, unique look. Positives & Negatives: Glock 19X: Positives: Better ergonomics for some, slightly more versatile for concealed carry, unique hybrid design. Negatives: Slightly more expensive, may be less common in some areas. Glock 45: Positives: Slightly longer slide for better accuracy, familiar Glock 17 platform. Negatives: Slightly larger for concealed carry, but still manageable. Which to Choose? If you prefer a hybrid, versatile firearm with a good balance for both duty and carry, the Glock 19X might be more appealing. If you want a standard-duty size with a longer slide and barrel, the Glock 45 is a solid choice. Hope this
Hi Brent and welcome to the forum. The G19x and G45 are more alike than they are different. It will come down to which fits your hand and conceals best if you plan to carry the pistol. Check for available holsters for both for carry fit and make a decision on which meets your specific needs best. It really is a toss up so you may want to visit a local brick and mortar and handle both to make the best choice. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
see if you can find a range that rents them so you can try them before buying
I own both, I favor the g45 partly because it's is an mos version, but it has a great balance to it as well handles great shoots straight it's been my edc for a good while now. hands down my favorite Glock I own. So if you want to run a dot I'd go with the 45, the 19x is a good as well minus a few things as mag compatibly and unless you get the slide milled to run a dot it's irons or nothing.
Hi Brent, The Glock 19X and Glock 45 are very similar pistols, both designed for service use, but the Glock 19X features a coyote tan finish and is designed for military use, while the Glock 45 is tailored for police duty with a black finish and additional enhancements like a flared mag well. The G45 is generally considered more practical due to its compatibility with a wider range of magazines and its design features that aid in faster reloads. The Glock 45 is slightly lighter and offers better magazine compatibility, allowing the use of all Gen 5 Glock magazines. The 19X is designed for compact usability and includes features like night sights, while the Glock 45 is more versatile with better magazine compatibility and a focus on law enforcement use. Stay safe & have a great day!
