Hi Brent and welcome to the forum. The G19x and G45 are more alike than they are different. It will come down to which fits your hand and conceals best if you plan to carry the pistol. Check for available holsters for both for carry fit and make a decision on which meets your specific needs best. I own both, I favor the g45 partly because it's is an mos version, but it has a great balance to it as well handles great shoots straight it's been my edc for a good while now. hands down my favorite Glock I own. So if you want to run a dot I'd go with the 45, the 19x is a good as well minus a few things as mag compatibly and unless you get the slide milled to run a dot it's irons or nothing.
