I like the Browning A-5 20 Gauge for dove, quail, turkey, and other game. It is very lightweight and having shot it a couple times, I believe this Semi-auto might be the best gun for my current needs. I am getting older (68) I think this lightweight A5 is perfect for my needs. What do you think?

As we get older, I'm getting there too, we must sometimes change out our tools. I think what you've switched over to makes perfect sense in my opinion!

Good evening to you!! The Browning A-5 is an excellent tool of choice. Just remember that with a semi- automatic shotgun they can be finicky. Shoot it a lot to find what feeds it well for the quarry you hunt. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your day.

Hi Henry and welcome. The Browning A-5 would fill the bill quite nicely. A semi-Auto would work no issue. A known trick to cycle even the lightest loads reliably is to store a semi-auto with the bolt locked back to season the spring to fully compress as the initial stiff recoil spring is the bane of many light loads until a rigorous break in period.
