All models should be fine as it is a bolt action not semi-automatic. All that is relevant is ensuring they do not come with larger than 10-round magazines which I don't believe is ever the case anyway.

Hi Thornton, the Ruger Mini 14 Ranch model 5801 is WA state legal. Some dealers state otherwise and will not transfer them. If your' FFL says no, call around until you find one who know the law. Hello Thornton, Yes, many versions of the Ruger American Ranch Rifle are legal to purchase and possess in Washington State, as the ban effective April 25, 2023, specifically targets the sale and manufacture of assault weapons, not all firearms. Many Ruger Ranch Rifle models in various calibers, such as 5.56 NATO, 7.62x39mm, 450 Bushmaster, 300 Blackout, 6.5 Creedmore, and other calibers, are legal to own.
