Yes, a Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy with a 3.5-inch barrel and 10-round magazines can be legally sold to residents of New Jersey.

Springfield introduced the 3.5-inch "compact" version of the 1911 DS Prodigy in 2025. This barrel length is not restricted in New Jersey.

Springfield Armory manufactures special "low capacity" versions of the Prodigy specifically for states with such restrictions, which ship with two 10-round magazines.

Hi Leonard, as a fellow NJ resident, I know how hard it is to navigate our draconian laws. You cannot have a magazine larger than 10 rounds.
Unfortunately, the 3.5" model does not come in a 10rd version. 
You can buy the 15rd 3.5" Prodigy DS and Bud's will ship with no magazines. You would then need to obtain your own 10rd magazines, available here budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/168544/springfield+armory+1911+prodigy+10rd+9mm+black ,

Yes, you can purchase the SA Prodigy you are asking about. Unfortunately, it only comes with 15 round NJ non-compliant magazines. Bud's would simply remove the non-compliant magazines and leave it up to the buyer to purchase their necessary state compliant magazines available below.
