Hi Chad, I would reach out at (859) 368-0419. Ask what the transfer fee is so there will be no surprises. You can also use the FFL locator here to see other FFL's in the area and what their fees are https://www.budsgunshop.com/ffl.php , Stay safe & have a great day!
Hi Chad and welcome. Actually, you don't but, I would out of courtesy. As long as where you are purchasing the firearm has Bud's FFL information, you will not have any issues with Bud's receiving your firearm. Bud's is after all, an FFL Dealer themselves. Your place of purchase can get Bud's FFL info here if they do not already have it: https://www.budsgunshop.com/bgs_ffl_request.php ---------- Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Sir Chad, Yes, to stay on safe side it's best to contact the Budsgunshop Lexington store before having a firearm shipped to them for an out-of-state transfer. This is a critical step, even if you are using a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) for the purchase. You must confirm their specific fee before shipping so you are not surprised when you go to pick up your firearm. Call Budsgunshop to speak with an employee about the FFL transfer process for an out-of-state purchase. Phone number: (859) 368-0419 You can also email their FFL department with the details of your transfer at FFL@BudsGunShop.com .Hope the above information helps Chad Sir, please take care and stay safe 🙏🏻
Wouldn't hurt to call and give them a heads up you have an inbound transfer arriving.
Yes sir, I would definitely reach out to them to be sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Happy shooting!
You definitely should. Always a good practice!
