Hi Don, The 7mm Backcountry cartridge is relatively new, and while it can be reloaded, specific load data is still being developed. Federal plans to provide full reloading data on their website, but currently, the unique Peak Alloy cases used in this cartridge may require special handling and techniques for resizing and loading. While it is possible to reload, the unique steel alloy may present challenges. The cases cannot be annealed, which could lead to brittleness after several firings. The 7mm Backcountry offers impressive performance but may not be as reloader-friendly as traditional brass cartridges. Reloaders should be prepared for specific challenges related to the steel case material. Full reloading data and recommendations are expected to be available from Federal. Stay safe & have a great day!
