Correct. The compliant ultima patrol is 7+1 and would be blocked/limited. If they blocked the tube, then either remove the block, or just get a new extension. It's also possible to limit it by replacing or modifying the follower. In which case you'd just buy a new follower. You can also give Beretta customer service a call at 1-800-237-3882
Hi Brett, the state compliant model has a shorter mag tube, so there is no plug to be removed. In NJ, the magazine must be permanently altered to be legal, so just installing a plug does not meet the requirement. You would need to install a +2 mag tube extension, which is out of stock at Bud's budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/714020655/nordic+mxt+extension+package+beretta+1301 , Available here >>> https://www.omahaoutdoors.com/nordic-mxt-beretta-1301-tactical-extension-kit/ Good luck, stay safe, & have a great day!
Hi Brett and welcome. You would just need to add the A300 +2 tube extension here: -- https://nordiccomp.com/categories/beretta-1301-tactical-mxt-extension-kit/ ------------ Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Hello Brett, While there is no removable plug on the A300 Ultima Patrol, you can convert the magazine to the higher capacity of 7+1 buy purchasing a whole new magazine tube and spring kit. The Massachusetts/New Jersey compliant models achieve their limited 5+1 capacity by using a shorter magazine tube from the factory, you cannot simply add an extension tube to the compliant model to increase the capacity. Because the state-compliant version is built with a shorter magazine tube, it requires a complete replacement of the tube. A kit designed for the Beretta 1301 Tactical is often compatible with the A300 Ultima Patrol. One specific product mentioned by users is the Nordic Components Beretta 1301 Tactical Kit. Hope the above information helps Brett. Please take care and stay safe 🙏🏻
