Not sure who specifically you're referencing, but there have been lots of odd things since that one large wave of spam. Personally, I answer rarely now as there are relatively few questions at all, even fewer that are not requesting legal interpretations or advice that I hesitate to weigh in on, asking after imported clones, or questions with no product listed - that, and grad school is a more than full time job and all. I sometimes wonder if a critical mass of questions and answers has been achieved, and perhaps there is less left to discuss. Or a change in filtering/moderation to avoid spam. In any case, less to answer.

Good evening to you!! I've noticed that after the malware incident that there are more new people answering and getting the majority of the selected answers. No problem there someone has to be selected. Questions are few and far between and none are linked to a product like before. Oh well, I'll answer when I can. Hope this helps. Far less questions. Far less answers from the typical folks. The standard folks winning on Friday aren't getting wins nowadays. I'm sure that something is happening behind the scenes. Not sure if it was certain folks gaming the system in their favor. I can only imagine the amount of loss to honest folks compared to those who possibly cheated the system.
