I see buds has assigned two guns to me to be shipped that are currently on layaway. I can see from the serial numbers however that they are older models of the P320 that don't come with the SIG-LOC slide (verified from Sig Sauer customer service). Will buds assign a newer version of the gun to me jf I ask? I know they have the newer versions of the gun as the last one i got from them back in march was new.

Only thing to do here is to call Buds customer service at 1-859-368-0371 9am-7pm EST Mon-Fri and ask them to help out on this issue.

Good afternoon to you!! If I were you I'd call Bud's customer service at the below number and ask them if they are able to switch firearms for you. It's possible that Bud's inventory is consists of the older models. Call 859-368-4019 and discuss it with them. I hope this helps. Have a good rest of your weekend.
