I have both and definitely prefer the Bergara. IMHO

Hi Timothy and welcome. This will be a half dozen of one and six of the other decision. I would choose the one that is most aesthetically pleasing your eye as overall performance/accuracy is a literal wash. If absolute build quality and accuracy is of most importance, then the Begara would be that choice. If cost to performance ratio is most desired, then the Savage is your choice.
