Hi Frank, there is no way to know the particular blemish on this specific gun. They are cosmetic imperfections. These products are in like-new condition with very minor blemishes. Most are barely noticeable, and many report the blemish cannot be seen unless thoroughly examined. This unit is no longer under warranty for anything cosmetic related. Stay safe & have a great day!

Could be anywhere. Colt is not sending out easily seen blemishes. Some folks say it takes very careful looking to find it.

Some of these Blemish models have something that one may not even notice? A small rub mark, a fine scratch, who knows until it arrives.
