I would still try CZ. If they handle it, you still have factory new. And never trust the FFL. Check for yourself.
Hi Brian, Bud's lifetime warranty does not kick in until the manufacturer's warranty is expired. All CZ-USA firearms are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for one (1) year on wooden parts and surface treatment, so you would need to go through CZ to have the situation remedied. Register your firearm and get warranty coverage here >>> czfirearms.com/en-us/warranty . This is why it is important to inspect firearms before you accept the transfer. It is up you you, not the FFL, to inspect the firearm. If you had refused the transfer, the gun could be sent back to Bud's for a replacement. Once you take possession, you must go through the manufacturer's warranty. . Good luck, stay safe & have a great day!
Hi Brian and welcome. Sorry your FFL Dealer missed the defect. If you have already taken transfer of the CZ Drake, You will need to register it for warranty repair from CZ at czfirearms.com/en-us/warranty -- You have 1-year standard factory warranty from CZ for repair. This is a note intended for Ed c. One of the guys that answered the question. Thanks for explaining the warranty process. I have purchased several weapons from Buds. And, was completely unaware of how the process actually worked. Really, it's no different than buying, an extended warranty on a car. I never thought of it, like that. Until reading your explanation. Thanks again!
This issue must be handled through CZ. After their 1 year manufacturers warranty ends, then Buds extended warranty kicks in.
Good evening to you!! You should have inspected it prior to taking the transfer. Don't rely on their word. Anyway your firearm is covered by CZ's warranty. Contact them from the information on your warranty card that should have been included. Please see below link for more information. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your day. 🎊🎊 Happy New Year 🎊🎊 https://shop.cz-usa.com/contact-us/
I'd contact CZ @ czfirearms.com/en-us/warranty or https://shop.cz-usa.com/contact-us/
