Hi David, yes sir, the Hi-Point is worth every cent. It  is generally reliable and accurate for informal shooting or home defense. However, opinions vary, with some praising its affordability and others criticizing its design and materials, so it ultimately depends on your specific needs and expectations.
If you are looking for a range/plinking gun, this will fit the bill. I have shot one many times and have no complaints.  Although, Its unconventional design and limited magazine capacity can be drawbacks.

yes it is a very good 9mm carbine especially at its price point. some people will never have anything good to say about Hi Point firearms I have found them reliable but not very attractive LOL
