The only recourse here if You've already accepted the firearm through the transfer process is to now contact the manufacturer.
Your only recourse is to contract the manufacturer as Bud's wouldn't know it was damaged when they shipped it. Good luck π
Hi Raul, since Bud's does not open packages before shipping, I would contact the manufacturer and complain. There is no way Bud's could have known it had scratches, and once you take possession, it is out of Bud's hands. Stay safe & have a great day!
I think it's best to look your firearms before you do the transfer at the FFL. You can always send the item back at that point in the process. It won't hurt for you to send an email to them so they can be aware of it but do not expect them to refund you for anything. The responsibility falls on you to verify the condition of the gun before a transfer takes place. You have to ask yourself, is it something that would have prevented you from buying it? If not don't worry about it. Depending on various factors (I.e. type of scratch, type of firearm, where the scratches are etc) you may be able to just buff them out -or have it done professionally if it bothers you a lot. I had a similar experience when buying the Ruger mini 14. The inside of the receiver looked worn for a new gun. The metal on the receiver was a bit toothy and some bluing was worn off. I came to find that it was normal. At the end of the day all that matters to me is how the gun functions since it's not a show piece. And
Hi Raul and welcome. If you have already completed the transfer paperwork, I would let Buds and the manufacturer know about the scratches. The manufacturer would be responsible for any recourse. If you have not completed the paperwork/transfer, contact Buds who will arrange pickup from the FFL and a refund or replacement. Sorry it happened but, usually the manufacturer will take care of the issue if the transfer is completed. Cheers and stay safe! Good evening to you!! If you have already accepted the firearm and completed the transfer you'll have to contact the manufacturer for any warranty work. If you didn't accept the transfer you can contact Bud's and they will arrange to have it picked up and you will get credit (minus restock fee) for another firearm. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your day. πΊπΈπΊπΈ 'Merica' πΊπΈπΊπΈ
