Yes, BUT not without modifications. The Ruger ReadyDot Reflex Optic is designed specifically for a Shield RMSc footprint. Since the standard Ruger Security-9 slide is NOT factory-milled for optics, you will need to purchase an aftermarket dovetail mounting plate to attach it. Key Details for Your Setup: The Footprint: The ReadyDot utilizes the standard Shield RMSc footprint. The Challenge: The standard Ruger Security-9 comes with a solid slide and is not optics-ready. You will need to swap out your rear sight for a dovetail adapter plate that converts the sight channel to an RMSc footprint (such as aftermarket plates from Amazon or EGW). Optic Specs: The ReadyDot is a fixed, battery-free optic. It features a large 15 MOA dot that gathers ambient light and cannot be zeroed, making exact alignment on the slide critical.
