Customer feedback indicates the following regarding current models:Less Frequent, but Not Eliminated: Recent reports from current customers and clone owners suggest that FTEs are less common than they were in earlier, budget-tier clones.The Root Cause: When FTEs do happen on modern production Hi-Powers, community consensus points to either an extractor claw that lacks proper tension, or built-up debris in the extractor channel.The Fix: If an issue does occur, a simple and inexpensive deep clean of the slide channel, using a light oil on the extractor, or replacing the extractor spring typically resolves the problem.
