either move the upper strap down or (better in my opinion) move the lower cup up to fit the barrel and cut off the excess leather IE shorten the holster

A good leatherworker could also look at the picture and most likely duplicate/modify the design and totally build it for you

Hi Mr Thomas, You could get some heavy duty stitching and do the same. It's not hard you would just cut the strap and replace where it feels good to you. Stitch it on. I would add some kind of sealant over your work also to prevent it ever coming undone. Hope this helps.
