Thank you Randy. I like both of your thoughts on the matter. I will consider using both methods when I talk to my local shoe repair place. I am sure that they will be a great help in getting it done and do a configuration that will work. Hate to carry the firearm in but I think it would be a help in explaining just what I need.

I would even think of Making the bottom cup and the strap adjustable by using something like a lace on  system instead of sewing them onto the holster. they may even be able to make a slide in cup adapter to fit into the existing cup and extend up to meet the gun barrel
