It is legal to purchase a long gun across state lines but you will have to contact customer service (859) 368-0371 9am-9pm mon-fri or use the blue Chat Now button and ask their policy. If they will I would contact the FFl you want to use and check their policy on interstate sales we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions
Hi David, No unless you have a residence in Pa. You will not be allowed to take the firearm across state lines when you leave.

David, an FFL can sell a rifle or shotgun to a resident of ANY state as long as the sale complies with the law of BOTH states.
Hi David, I did some research. You may purchase a rifle directly from a dealer in another state, and take possession of it IF the rifle is of a type allowed in your state. ---- You may purchase a handgun from a dealer or private individual in another state as well. However, the handgun MUST be transferred to an FFL in your state, who will transfer the firearm to you. ----You WILL have to do an FFL transfer to an FFL in your state. No way around it to get it in Wisconsin.
Steve P the last time I checked most AR-15sare long guns so it will not need to be shipped when he leaves PA. and goes back to Wisconsin.
The legality is not at question but you need to know the policies of both Buds and the receiving FFL as not all FFL will sell to a non-resident
I have a ar15 that is a pistol :P
