Yes you can Scott. As long as the FFL accepts shipments from individuals. Otherwise you would need to have your local FFL ship to them.
Yes you can ship a long gun to a FFL in another state But you need to call him and make sure he will accept it and any requirements he has to do it My FFL requires a copy of the persons Drivers license
Now if you are talking about purchasing a gun from Buds and having it shipped you will need to check with buds on their policy and also with the receiving ffl customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button .

You certainly can as long as the gun is for you and NOT someone else. Plus, it wouldn't work out anyway if it was for "the other guy." If you have proper identification/paperwork then it shouldn't be a problem.
