the only thing I could find was at about the same time there was a S&W M&P lower parts kit that was recalled and what wolf said was for all S&W M&P not just the sport II Like I said I have shot 1000s of rounds in my sport II and have about a 1000 rounds left I don't know if I will buy more after its gone or not it depends on what else I can find out

No problem. It was me that suggested calling S&W direct. What we seem to have here is two manufacturers claiming the others product is somehow the issue. It's a shame because neither is offering any real proof to back their finger pointing at the other. Always side with the manufacturer of your firearm as they hold your warranty. Maybe one or both will step up and offer conclusive proof of their claim.

Its not well publicized either I find no mention of it on the S&W M&P forum I shoot a sport II and did not know any thing about it (neither does the place I buy my bulk wolf gold)
