Yes you can fire 7.62X51 with no problems Because .308 is the "hotter" ammo it will shoot both with no issues
You can fire 7.62 in this rifle but you should be aware that the 7.62 ammo can be a bit longer than your .308 chamber and still be in spec. Most American manufacturers realize this and load them short enough to function in the .308, but I work on a public range and see that some rifles have problems digesting some 7.62 ammo. It's not a dangerous situation. The bolt just will not close easily or at all.

Him sure it will, but if it is not stated by the manufacturer you should be careful not just for your safety, but you can potentially void the warranty if something should happen to the firearm.
