The Taurus PT 1911 is a solid entry level pistol Douglas. It is accurate out of the box. The only thing I would recommend getting would be wolf extra power magazine springs. +5% for regular ammunition and +10% for heavy +P loads. So far, it looks, feels, and, with the exception of the magazines, shoots fantastic. More rounds will be required to be put through to get a full idea of how well of a performer this is, but if it continues to function well, I wouldn't mind using this as a carry weapon.

It is one of the few Taurus guns I can recommend I have a pt1911 in 38 super and it has been a flawless gun I have had no issues with it at all it is accurate and reliable
