The one I have is fine. I have heard of problems occasionally but they are guaranteed and SCCY has no problem sending you a new one. For the price they shoot well. You do not make much money selling a gun at that price so I'd imagine that's why they do not carry them.

I have been quite happy with mine and the reviews I read prior to purchasing seemed positive. The issues that I read about were reported it seemed that the company's CS was quite responsive, which is more than can be said for some of the big names (which also have some bad ones get on the market). I agree with Mark that many shops probably don't carry them due to the marginal profit they can make in dealing with small numbers. I've mainly seen these for sale by the larger dealers that stock hundreds of guns. I would also add some conjecture in that I have witnessed some shops and/or shop workers defame products they do not carry. Keep in mind it doesn't suit them to "sell" you on something they cannot. The better shops will not do this so take that with a grain of salt. Giving a vague response of "issues reported" would make me a bit skeptical. It's funny how some shops don't carry what they don't like. When I asked a local dealer if he had any Sig 320s, he said, "No, I don't like Sigs" I ordered one anyway, maybe he likes them better now. As for the SCCY...I have shot only one and I didn't care for the long, sloppy trigger or the sights. I found it hard to shoot accurately. My Sig 320 sub-compact has a much better trigger, better sights and holds more ammo at almost the same size. And will out shoot the SCCY at any distance. I like my Sig much better...the guy who owned the SCCY liked my Sig better. Yes, the Sig is about $100.00 more but you get what you pay for.

I've had mine for a few years and haven't had a single problem!
