its .357 mag not a .357 sig the 357 mag is the rimed revolver cartridge (which is what this pistol uses )

This pistol is chambered in the 357 Magnum caliber normally associated with Revolvers. Coonan also made a semi-auto in 357 Magnum as well. Rare but they exist.
