I have owned the FNS 40 made by FNH USA. This hand gun comes out of the box fully ambidextrous. Mag button, check, safety, check, slide serrations, check. Not to mention it is a great carry option. You can change the barrels and it can handle different loads. For example, my FNS 40, the mag is stamped with 40 S&W/357 Sig. With a barrel change I have a handgun in 357 Sig. give it a check

The VP9 Is most likely the friendliest Lefty friendly pistol offered by H&K from an ergonomic stand point David. There are other H&K's but more so the VP9.

Out of the box, the VP9 is the most lefty friendly gun HK makes. Other brands have what some would consider even more ambidextrous (maybe the Ruger American, for example), but not at this level of quality.
