Yes, this Mossberg Patrol Rifle's Barrel is stamped 5.56Nato and will fire the slightly lower pressure .223 with no problems Joseph.

Hi Joseph, Yes it will no problem. Mossberg Patrol Rifle's Barrel is stamped 5.56 Nato so they chamber .223 without issue.
