Hi Mike, It comes with a Mid-Length Gas System. It has the standard Picatinny rail so mounting optics or flip up sights will be no problem. BCM Mod 0 Compensator isn't a muzzle break. Mike this rifle has a "Low Profile" mid length Gas Block. It is F/R Flip-Up Sight ready as is. The BCM Mod 0 Compensator isn't a muzzle break but Flash Hider. Chrome Lined Bolt Carrier and Gas Key with Medium sized charging handle.
