I would contact my local FFL first. Classified as fully-compliant by Federal BATFE, this model requires no Tax Stamp for transfers, where permitted. North Carolina law also bans shotguns with a barrel length of less than 18 inches or an overall length of 26 inches. Hope this helps

I also have received conflicting answers to your Question ( wondering if you live near HP) I did contact the ATF of NC office and of Corse it is all legal with them . I also contacted the NC attorney generals office and so far It is good with them , I plan to call the NC state police But I am convinced that good ole NC will let me own one so own one I will ,
