No your not. You have to click on make a payment and you will see what you have already paid on it and the balance
I suggest you recheck your total amount due. Sometimes there is a bit of a lag from when you submit a payment and when it is reflected in your balance. Also, it depends on how you made your payment. A credit/debit card payment shows up quicker than a check payment or bank checking account transfer ( sometimes days).
You just have to go to orders and then to the left of this order you should see "Payment" and there you will see your payment deducted. If you do not, do what I did and try the Chat Now method (they helped me fix things in 2 minutes). I just used layaway this past month and it worked out very well! Also, you are definitely not paying 20% more. The only caution I would have is making sure you pay it off before the time is up because if you do not, they keep all of the money towards it. That is the only downfall.

Click on order status / account at the top of Bud's home page. That will bring up your three most recent orders. There will be 3 red buttons to the right of the order number and amount. They are: payment, add/update FFL, view order. Click on the payment button. That will bring up the page showing the current status of all payments you have made (In the small black-lined box). If it still isn't there call Bud's customer service.
