I always pay the 20% down with credit card (yes it will cost you a extra 3% on the amount you put on the card) it secures the gun right then and I pay the rest with e-checks getting the cash discount on 80% of the cost of the gun example $500 gun 20% Down cost me $103,00 on the card leaving the balance of $400 which I pay with e-check and only pay the cash balance of $400 so the entire $500 gun cost me $503
