You will not get complete burn Michael, but it won't be as much of a loss in velocity as one would think. Another optimized option is : https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/076683239174?upc_only=1&view=list ---- (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_BPDmy4SfQ)
Hi Michael, Yes it will be fine buddy.
no you will not get the 1145 FPS out of a 2 inch barrel My guess is that you will loose about 100FPS and be between 1000-1050 FPS Features and Specifications: Manufacturer Number: RTP357M10 Caliber: .357 Magnum Bullet Type: Semi-Jacketed Hollow Point Bullet Weight: 180 Grains Rounds: 50 per Box Muzzle Velocity: 1145 fps Bullet Diameter: .357 Muzzle Energy: 524 ft lbs Jacket Material: Copper Core Material: Lead Tip Material: Lead Casing: Brass
You will lose lots of velocity and depending on what 2 inch you shoot them out of a lightweight gun may recoil enough to make the bullets creep out and tie up the gun. I'd stick with 125 to 158 grain self defense loads.
