If its in an attempt to circumvent the law, I would advise no. Even if its legal, you may destroy the firearm. And as to whether or not its possible, I'm sure it can be done with the right machines and machinist. May break a tool or two. This steel has been heat treated and will be tough to mill out now. Even if the carbide gets the job done, depth may be an issue. I wouldn't try myself. It comes with lots of magazines already, giving you lots of firepower.

Unfortunately you can't. This new batch of single stack NPAPs has bolts that only work with single feed magazines. Even if you mill out the magwell to accept normal AK mags, the bolt won't work with them. You could switch out the bolt/bolt carrier, but that would involve re-headspacing the thing which is way more trouble than it is worth. If you want something that will work with normal AK mags, get a different gun.

I would absolutely not do it as it would probably result in a broken firearm or intent charges.

If you are allowed in your to have a higher cap mag in your state & want something that will work with normal AK mags, get a different gun.
