Mine came with 3 (12) round magazines.

Jacobus, each magazine holds 10 rounds, that's the standard capacity for the M&P 45. You can confirm the capacity at the Smith and Wesson website. S&W does offer a 14 round capacity magazine for sale but, it sticks out the grip a considerable amount.
