I live in Ca gun laws suck here. Ammo wise both can be found at Buds 5 star for aprox .60 per round . I'm not a big plinker mostly for defence I don't collect toys AR type 22s ,.17etc. mainly high caliber rifles and handguns for my collection, thanks again , Bob

I would select the 44 mag due to the fact that there is a lot more companies making and carrying the 44 mag ammo I have a 45lc and finding ammo in stock can be a issue
