No Ernest as this particular only has a 2.75 inch Chamber.

Hi Ernest, No unfortunately this only accepts 2.75 inch.

Unfortunately no this particular model 1100 only has a 2 3/4 inch chamber, so it can not fire 3 inch shells. Hope this helps.

Remington 1100s shoot /function with ONLY the length of shell they are chambered for this is chambered for the 2 3/4 shell only If it was a 3 inch 1100 it would not cycle with the 2 3/4 shells
