I was wondering if it is ok and safe to carry this weapon as my EDC with the external manual safety NOT ENGAGED? I have been carrying it with the thumb safety engaged for now but have heard that this pistol is exactly the same internally as the version that comes without the manual safety. So can I simply carry this pistol without using the thumb safety? I know there is a firing pin block on this pistol. Please elaborate. Thank you.
P.S. I'm asking because my primary CCW was a 1911.

Hi Christopher, It's fine if you're comfortable doing so. I prefer the 1911's myself though as my CCW
