Hi Linda, Boot grips are bigger. I switched from a boot grip to a combat grip on my S&W M60 snubby, and I'm happy with the change. It's only slightly larger, but gives me a better hold on the gun, is more comfortable to shoot, and still fits in my pocket. Here's a picture side by side.
