The 700 series rifles are still pretty accurate.

Hi Tom, Remington fixed the issues of the past. This rifle is very accurate and pretty much flawless again like it should be.

The quality did slack for a while Tom, but Remington has rebounded in the quality control these last few years. I would personally be all over the available 700 PSS. It does not matter the caliber, the PSS is a "Tack Driver" any day of the week.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZpqOkc-ih8

it is a production gun and you my get on that is a "tack" driver or you may get on that has good accuracy. a lot will depend on finding the AMMO it likes. the quality is good. But again like any "production" gun great accuracy is a combination of luck and finding what the gun likes to shoot. some of the most accurate custom rifles are only super accurate with a specific handload
