It is a good solid home defense shotgun. The fit and finish is rough but they work great. You may need to sit and just Cycle the action to break in the gun. Michael, I have owned one for many years and it has survived this ole country boy's intense usage as a truck gun on the farm, hunting, target shooting with no issues whatsoever. Not everything needs to cost an arm and a leg to get the job done.
