Hi Brandon, They're exactly the same it's just now the newest P9HST2S claims to be for "Self Defense and Personal Protection" and not just "Personal Protection" So they branded it with a "S" Also the P9HST2 is 50 rounds while the is 20 rounds.

Brandon, the only difference is that P9HST2 boxes are marked "Law Enforcement" and the P9HST2S boxes are marked "Personal Defense". The ammunition is the same exact specifications between the two. You can save a few cents per round when you can find the 50rd boxes.
