Hi Rachel. The specifications on this pistol are "Overall length 6.85" - Width 1.14" - Weight 23.45 oz". For the Glock 19 the specifications are "Overall length: 7.28" - Overall width: 1.18" - Overall weight: 23.65 ozs. This makes it shorter by almost a half inch with similar width and weight. In short it is should have the same feel/recoil as the Glock 19. (They are almost twins).
its a little heavier (Wt.: 23.45 oz). that the Glock 19 ( 20.99 oz) so recoil should be slightly less enough to notice the recoil? that would depend on the shooter
