Yes it will handle them all day long. If you ever wear it out ruger will stand behind it I had a single six that was over 40 years old that was worn out to the point that my gunsmith could not fix it he sent it to ruger they looked at it and offered me a NEW singles six at less than a 1/4 of the price of a new one including shipping and transfer fee so if you do wear it out ruger will take care of you
